Katherine Heigl reveals that she grew up in a white bubble, and how that influenced how she raised her adopted multiracial kids. In an interview, she spoke about the "Firefly Lane" actress, along with "Grey's Anatomy" actress admitted her body didn't matter to her. However, when talking to her adoptive sister from South Korea about how society had treated them, she was conscious of the differences their lives were. I asked Meg whether, while out with her parents, she was treated with a specific manner but when she was on her own, she received a different treatment. Meg replied, "Oh, sure, I was treated the same way all the time!' That made me realize that I was naive," Heigl said to Parents. She said that she was angry, but she felt that she had to channel this anger to support her daughters. Heigl, who has been married to Josh Kelley for 13 years they have a son Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. They have took in Nancy Leigh (age 12) from South Korea and Adalaide (age 8) with a black complexion and was adopted in 2009.
